Project: Severn House, Worcester.

Client: Hereford & Worcester Chamber of Commerce.

Contract Management: Amber Projects Ltd.

A start immediately after the 2004/2005 Christmas break, saw us undertake one of our tightest programmes. The Chamber of Commerce had purchased a ‘tired’ building in Worcester and needed to move in over the Easter period. Extensive refurbishment was required and we were nominated to undertake the glazing element of the contract.

Working directly for the Chamber, liaising with Amber Projects and with only 10 weeks available, we were to strip out all the heavy timber framed windows and replace with customised powder coated, thermally broken aluminium frames and high specification glazing.

Despite the inherent problems encountered with this type of project we were able to complete within programme and the Chamber effect their Easter move.
